I take great pride in charting my career path from a system administrator in various IT companies to the realm of educational technology. Working within the IT sector exposed me to evolving technological landscapes, particularly in social media and the World Wide Web. However, I noticed a disparity in how these advancements were being integrated into academic spheres. Fueled by a desire to catalyze change, I pursued a Master's degree in Educational Technology in 2013, subsequently transitioning into a role as a technology coordinator.

In this capacity, I found immense satisfaction in collaborating with educators, assisting them in seamlessly integrating technology across diverse curriculum domains. Through this experience, I honed my skills in implementing various Learning Management Systems (LMS) within educational settings.

This journey served as a springboard for me to delve deeper into adult learning, prompting my exploration of instructional design theory. I completed a MicroMaster program with the University of Maryland's Global Campus. I furthered my expertise through enrollment in the IDOL Academy, marking a transformative phase in my career as an instructional designer.

Today, I am gratified to leverage my multifaceted experiences to enrich and innovate within the educational landscape. From my ongoing studies and practical application, I firmly believe that effective instructional design is paramount in crafting memorable online learning experiences that engage learners and impart meaningful knowledge and skills.
